A strong low will bring cooler temperatures and snow accumulations for areas above 2000 feet Sunday night into Monday. Thunder is possible on Monday. Shower chances will linger through the work week, with temperatures warming up. && .IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult mountaineering conditions at 10,000 feet and above, with local blizzard-like conditions, strong winds, and near zero visibility. A high level of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in these situations. && .SATURDAY...Patchy fog through the day. Showers in the morning. Rain showers and snow showers likely in the late morning and early afternoon, then showers late in the afternoon. Snow accumulation near Paradise up to 3 inches.
