This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
  Elevated to locally significant fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Elevated to locally significant fire weather potential will occur
across portions of the area from late this morning into early this
evening, especially west of Springfield. Gusty southwesterly
winds of 25 to 35 mph will combine with afternoon relative
humidity values between 25 and 30 percent.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Thunderstorm chances return to the region late Monday into
Tuesday. There will be the potential for some strong to severe
storms on Tuesday. Additional shower and storm chances will be
possible Thursday into Friday.

Gusty southwesterly winds will develop Monday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday of next week however the highest wind gusts are
expected on Tuesday.

Additional thunderstorm chances return Thursday.
