Significant rises are expected on the following rivers:

For the Jacks Fork River at Eminence.  Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The
latest stage was 8.0 feet at 12 PM Wednesday. The river may rise to
near 10.0 feet by 6 PM Wednesday.

For the Little Osage River near Horton.  Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
The latest stage was 37.9 feet at 1 PM Wednesday. The river may rise
to near 39.5 feet by 12 AM Thursday.

For the Marmaton River near Nevada.  Flood stage is 20.0 feet. The
latest stage was 19.4 feet at 1 PM Wednesday. The river may rise to
near 19.6 feet by 6 PM Wednesday.

For the Sac River near Caplinger Mills.  Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
The latest stage was 14.4 feet at 1 PM Wednesday. The river may rise
to near 15.1 feet by 6 PM Wednesday.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
