much of Eastern Oklahoma.

AREA...Northeast Oklahoma.

DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds will begin to increase this afternoon with gust
to around 30 mph. Minimum RH values will fall into the 30-35
percent range across portions of northeast Oklahoma. Any areas
that have dormant fine fuels may experience an increase in fire
spread potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
An active spring weather pattern develops mid to late week and
continues through the weekend with multiple rounds of showers and
storms likely, including the potential for severe weather.
Scattered thunderstorms are forecast late Wednesday night into
Thursday morning with a few marginally severe storms possible. The
greater severe weather threat will likely develop Friday and again
over the weekend as another strong storm system moves out of the
desert Southwest. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLANNING STATEMENT...
Continue to monitor the latest forecast concerning the severe
weather and heavy rainfall potential mid to late week through the
weekend. Details will continue to be refined over the next several
days.
