THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 41.0 DEGREES OR 0.9
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. PRECIPITATION MEASURED 2.71 INCHES,
WHICH 0.78 ABOVE NORMAL. SNOWFALL WAS 0.7 INCHES, 4.1 INCHES
BELOW NORMAL.

FEBRUARY STARTED OFF WARM WITH THE FIRST 5 DAYS AVERAGING
12.8 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH TEMPERATURES
AVERAGED SLIGHTLY ABOVE TO BELOW NORMAL. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE
WAS ON THE 3RD WHEN THE HIGH REACHED 73 DEGREES AND THE COLDEST
WAS 12 DEGREES ON THE 8TH.

THERE WAS NO SIGNIFICANT STORM DURING THE MONTH BUT A SERIES OF
COLD FRONTS DID MOVE THROUGH THE AREA PRODUCING SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. THE GREATEST SNOWFALL DURING THE MONTH WAS 0.6
INCHES ON THE 6TH WITH 5 DAYS IN WHICH A TRACE OR MORE OF SNOW WAS
REPORTED. THE GREATEST SNOW DEPTH ON THE GROUND DURING THE MONTH
WAS 1 INCH ON THE 7TH. THE GREATEST 24 HOUR RAINFALL WAS 0.89
INCHES ON THE 23RD

THE HIGHEST WINDS OF THE MONTH OCCURRED ON THE 6TH WITH GUSTS
REACHING 55 MPH FROM THE NORTHWEST.
