Wet pattern continues through Saturday with periods of showers
and thunderstorms. Strong storms with hail and frequent lightning
are likely today and tonight, with more widespread rain showers
Friday into Saturday, along with high elevation snow impacts. A
drying trend is expected Sunday into next week with temperatures
warming to well above normal.

and thunderstorms over the mountains. Strong storms with hail and
frequent lightning are likely today in the mountains, with more
widespread rain showers Friday into Saturday, along with high
elevation snow impacts, especially east of the Sierra Crest. Fewer
showers are likely on the western slopes through the weekend. A
drying trend is expected Sunday into next week with temperatures
warming to well above normal.
