This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest
Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible
this afternoon across portions of the Four State Region. This
activity should begin to dissipate through the evening hours
tonight. Brief heavy downpours, gusty winds and frequent cloud to
ground lightning will accompany these storms. While an isolated
strong storm cannot be ruled out this afternoon, widespread severe
thunderstorms are not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected each day of the
remaining work week into next weekend. These storms will be more
active with the aid of daytime heating and should dissipate during
the evening hours each day. Widespread severe thunderstorms are
not expected with this activity this week into the upcoming
weekend but some of these storms could be strong with gusty
winds, brief heavy downpours and frequent cloud to ground
lightning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of emergency management personnel...amateur radio
operators...and storm spotters will not be needed through tonight.
