The tornado continued east along FM 3357, CR 3430, and CR 4340 and continued snapping and uprooting numerous trees as it cross CR 4335, CR 4345, and began to move along FM 1448. Tree damage became more extensive as it approached the intersection of FM 1448 and FM115. At this location, most of the metal roof panels were removed from a South Franklin Fire Department building. Farther east, two homes in the New Hope community were damaged. One house lost almost all of the upwind portion of the roof when the roof overhanging a porch was uplifted. A manufactured home also lost a portion of its roof causing part of a wall failure. Two residents were in this part of the manufactured home at the time but were uninjured. Metal roof panels on a neighboring outbuilding were also peeled back and twisted. Farther north, a church on CR 4395 lost some of its roof. More softwood trees were snapped and uprooted along CR 4396 before the tornado moved over Lake Bob Sandlin and crossed into Camp County. From this point, damage was difficult to locate at the tornado skirted the southern shore of Lake Bob Sandlin. Some tree damage indicative of a tornado was found along CR 2417 and along FM 21. Move extensive tree damage was found beginning CR 2332, CR 2330, and within the Thunderbird community just south of Lake Bob Sandlin. As the tornado continued east and moved along FM 1520, several structures were damaged at a fishing and recreational vehicle campground. One outbuilding that was used as a cabin was sitting on wooden beams and cinder blocks was blown away and destroyed. The cabin was blown into a neighboring RV, which was then overturned. Another RV was also overturned in this campground. Three injuries occurred to occupants of the RV campers. The tornado once again crossed a cove of Lake Bob Sandlin, and damage started to become much more sporadic. More hardwood and softwood trees were snapped just north of Hwy 255 and again just west of US Hwy 271 south of the Camp/Titus County Line where the tornado finally lifted. Special thanks go out to the Texas Department of Emergency Management, and the Camp County Office of Emergency Management for their assistance in locating damage. ..Tornado #2: Morris County Tornado... Nearly all the damage was to softwood trees in the form of uproots and snaps. The highest concentration of tree damage was in the neighboring Scottsville and Rock Springs Cemeteries near the start of the path. It is possible the tornado was on the ground a bit longer than one mile, but the lack of ground access hindered the ability of the severe team to confirm this. Fortunately there were no injuries in association with this brief tornado and the maximum width was only 100 yards. .Tornado #6: Western Caddo Parish, LA Tornado... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 93 mph Path Length /statute/: 3.91 miles Path Width /maximum/: 114 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/04/2025 Start Time: 09:00 AM CST Start Location: 6 NNE Waskom / Caddo Parish / TX Start Lat/Lon: 32.5589 / -94.0328 End Date: 03/04/2025 End Time: 09:04 AM CST End Location: 5 WSW Blanchard / Caddo Parish / LA End Lat/Lon: 32.5595 / -93.9659 Survey Summary: This tornado began just east of the Texas/Louisiana State Line in Caddo Parish and generally moved east along Blanchard Furrh Road. The tower appeared to have been twisted from the north and then bent towards the east. The tornado lifted just before the intersection of Blanchard Furrh Road and Springwood Lane. .Tornado #7: North Shreveport, LA Tornado... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 93 mph Path Length /statute/: 0.92 miles Path Width /maximum/: 225 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/04/2025 Start Time: 09:19 AM CST Start Location: 6 ESE Blanchard / Caddo Parish / LA Start Lat/Lon: 32.5664 / -93.7831 End Date: 03/04/2025 End Time: 09:20 AM CST End Location: 6 NNE Shreveport / Caddo Parish / LA End Lat/Lon: 32.5675 / -93.7691 Survey Summary: This brief EF1 tornado touched down in the North Highlands neighborhood of North Shreveport. It initially began along Booth Drive and move east snapping the trunks of a couple of hardwood trees and downing large limbs from softwood trees. A few metal roof panels were also removed from an outbuilding LA Hwy 3049/Dixie Shreveport Road. The tornado end point is placed here as no additional damage was located. Much of the land between this point and the Red River consisted of open fields. No consistent damage track was located east of the Red River in Bossier Parish. ..Tornado #8: Southwest Claiborne Parish, LA Tornado... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 1.98 miles Path Width /maximum/: 300 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/04/2025 Start Time: 10:06 AM CST Start Location: 6 NE Dubberly / Claiborne Parish / LA Start Lat/Lon: 32.6138 / -93.163 End Date: 03/04/2025 End Time: 10:07 AM CST End Location: 6 WSW Athens / Claiborne Parish / LA End Lat/Lon: 32.6313 / -93.1397 Survey Summary: This brief EF-1 touched down just to the west of Harris Rd in southwestern Claiborne Parish. On the other side of the street, several structures had damage, with two of them being damaged from fallen trees. Surrounding snapped power poles and trees fallen on top of each other gave the survey team confidence that the damage was tornadic. The prevalence of damage in the area allowed the maximum track width of 300 yards to be calculated. The tornado continued east and caused more tree damage. After crossing Old Arcadia Rd, the tornado shifted to a more northeastern track before going into an area of cut-down trees. The lack of damage indicators and accessible roads prevented any tornado path from being followed. The path was picked up again just to the southeast of Kemp Rd where there was an area of soft and hardwood trees snapped and uprooted. The convergence of these fallen trees led the team to believe this was the continued tornado track rather than a separate area of straight line wind damage. The on-ground track decreased quickly after this area of trees, which was consistent with the weakening of the tornadic radar signature. This tornado had a track of 2 miles and a max wind speed of 110 mph. There was more tree damage outside of the tornado track, which was likely due to straight line damaging winds on the southern edge of the tornadic circulation. .Tornado #9: Six Mile, TX Tornado... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 105 mph Path Length /statute/: 5.71 miles Path Width /maximum/: 625 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/04/2025 Start Time: 10:29 AM CST Start Location: 9 ESE Pineland / Sabine County / TX Start Lat/Lon: 31.206 / -93.824 End Date: 03/04/2025 End Time: 10:36 AM CST End Location: 9 SE Hemphill / Sabine County / TX End Lat/Lon: 31.2429 / -93.74 Survey Summary: This strong EF-1 tornado with estimated maximum winds near 105 mph touched down in the Sabine National Forest along Forest Road 144, where numerous softwood trees were snapped and uprooted. The heaviest concentration of damage was near the intersection of Forest Road 144 and Forest Road 144A, where the tornado was strongest and widest. This tornado tracked northeast across inaccessible areas of the forest, before crossing Highway 87 just south of the Six Mile community. Numerous additional softwood trees were snapped and uprooted between Forest Road 182 and Shawnee Shores Drive, before lifting within a cove in Toledo Bend Reservoir along Shawnee Shores Drive. This tornado track may be extended farther west of the current start point based on future areal surveys by the U.S. Forest Service. Special thanks goes out to the U.S. Forest Service for their assistance in locating the damage. .Tornado #10: Boyce/Southwest Grant Parish, LA Tornado...
