* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Village Creek near Kountze.

* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 24.9 feet, Farm to Market Road 327 begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 24.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 AM CDT Saturday was 24.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.7
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Burkeville.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning to early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, Residential flooding in the River Bend
  Subdivision occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 35.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.0
    feet tomorrow morning, and could remain near flood stage for
    the next few days.
  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Bon Wier.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 33.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding will occur.
  Low-lying roads and a few homes have some flooding between Bon
  Wier and Merryville. Camp houses along the river in Southwest
  Vernon Parish begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 32.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Saturday was 32.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.0
    feet early Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

  buildings adjacent to gauge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 18.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Saturday was 18.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will remain steady above flood stage
    between 18.2 and 18.4 feet for the next several days.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

  forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Town Bluff.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 73.0 feet, Flooding expected in the Mont Neches,
  Barlow Lake and Sheffields Ferry communities. Some homes may
  become flooded as well, especially in the Barlow Lake community.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 71.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Saturday was 71.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage around 72.1 feet.
  - Flood stage is 68.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Major flooding along the river including
  Northwest Orange County From Lake View to the Saltwater Barrier
  with several homes and camps flooded. Flooding is also occurring
  along the river in Beaumont with major flooding at Colliers Ferry
  Park and around the Beaumont Country Club. Residential roads off
  of Pine Street are impassable and water up to homes. Several
  streets in Northeast Beaumont also become flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Saturday was 9.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.1
    feet early Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

  - At 8:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 26.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 AM CDT Saturday was 26.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 26.6 feet early
    Wednesday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
