Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
419 AM MST Thu Apr 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Cooling temperatures along increasing moisture levels will limit
fire weather danger over the next few days despite daily
occurrences of breezy to locally windy conditions. MinRH values
through Friday will run between 20-30%, with good to excellent
overnight recoveries expected. The most enhanced winds will occur
on Friday, with widespread gusts 25-35 mph. Higher gusts
exceeding 40 mph will be common across parts of the western
districts and the higher terrain areas of the eastern districts.
