.DISCUSSION...

Typical diurnal and valley wind tendencies are expected through
Saturday, with northerly downvalley winds overnight and southerly
upvalley winds during the day. Wind speeds will be light, generally
at or below 10 mph through Friday morning. Slightly stronger general
westerly winds in the afternoon may occasionally gust to around 20
mph. General winds will be a bit stronger Saturday afternoon with
potential for a few peak gusts up to 25-30 mph. Minimum RH values in
the afternoons will fall between 5-15%, with overnight recoveries
only to 25-30%. The dry conditions and breezes Saturday afternoon
may lead to brief elevated fire weather conditions. Temperatures
Friday and Saturday will be seasonal with afternoon highs in the
middle to upper 80s. Skies will remain mostly clear with no rain in
the forecast.

Extended Outlook: Sunday through Tuesday, winds will continue to
follow typical diurnal and valley tendencies, similar to Friday and
Saturday. Wind speeds will be light during the overnight and morning
hours and daily afternoon west to southwest wind gusts will be
capable of reaching 20-25 mph. Temperatures warm slightly, with
afternoon highs near 90F Monday and Tuesday. Minimum RH values will
continue to fall below 15% each afternoon.
