.DISCUSSION...
Strong late season cold storm moving into the search area by early
morning. Rainfall should begin in the late morning, ~1100, then
increase throughout the day. Heaviest rain and higher elevation
snow will occur in the afternoon, ~1400. Also in the afternoon,
there is potential for thunderstorms near the search area. Rain
rates of around 0.10"/hr can be expected from 1200 to 1400,
increasing to 0.25"/hr from 1400 to 1700. Precipitation should
diminish after to sunset, though a few additional hundredth of an
inch can`t be ruled out. Also, around 2200 snow levels will
drop to near Yosemite Valley level, though precipitations is
expected to have mostly past.
