Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A coastal low pressure trough
along the N and central California coast will slowly weaken
tonight through Fri night, then strengthen again along the entire
coast Sat night through Sun night. The coastal trough will
persist over the N and central areas Mon and Mon night while
gradually becoming weaker. A high pressure ridge will remain
anchored W of the waters tonight through Fri, then weaken late
Fri and Fri night. A cold front will move into the N and central
waters Fri night into Sat, then gradually dissipate by Sat night.
Another high pressure ridge will build just NW of the area late
Sat and Sat night, then persist to the N and and NW of the region
Sun and Sun night while becoming weaker. Another area of high
pressure will build in from the W and NW Mon and Mon night.
