...DROUGHT MONITOR IMPROVEMENTS PICK UP SPEED...

.SYNOPSIS:

Widespread improvements continue in the wet conditions of March,
April, and May 2024. Moderate Drought (D1) is now the driest
category of drought in southwestern Iowa and eastern Nebraska.
About 50% of the CWA is now considered to be drought free with
Abnormally Dry (D0) covering the most territory in the area.

A new graphical Drought Information Statement is now available

This product will be updated by June 13th or sooner if drought
