Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
306 PM CDT Mon May 6 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible during the early
part of the evening before gradually diminishing throughout the
night. Southerly flow will continue to bring warm/humid air to the
area, resulting in additional isolated showers and thunderstorms,
increasing humidity, and above-seasonal temperatures across all fire
districts on Tuesday. There are no fire weather concerns as RH
values remain above critical thresholds Patchy fog will be possible
across southwestern and southeastern fire districts Tuesday morning.
Elsewhere, widespread or dense fog is not expected.
