Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Shower and thunderstorms moved across the region earlier today,
bringing rain, gusty winds, and some hail to areas. Patchy blowing
dust has been observed on satellite in eastern Colorado and north
central Kansas.

OUTLOOK... A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for the following
counties through 8PM MDT...Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in
Colorado and Sherman, Wallace, Greeley, Wichita, and Logan
counties in Kansas. Temperatures this afternoon will reach the 70s
in most locations. Some patchy blowing dust remains possible
through the afternoon, particularly for areas included in the Red
Flag Warning.

A Red Flag Warning has been issued from 11AM to 7PM MDT Tuesday
for the following counties...Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in
Colorado and Wallace, Greeley, Wichita, and Logan counties in
Kansas. Low relative humidity values and gusty winds are expected.
High temperatures will range from the mid 60s in eastern Colorado
to the upper 70s in the southern portion of the area.
