...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern
Williamson, northern Caldwell, eastern Travis, Bastrop and
northwestern Lee Counties through 915 AM CDT...

At 832 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Round Rock to near Manor to near Mustang
Ridge to near Lockhart. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and heavy rains up to 1 inch.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Taylor,
Lockhart, Elgin, Bastrop, Granger, Austin Bergstrom Int Airport,
Windemere, Hutto, Manor, Mustang Ridge, Thrall, Niederwald, Granger
Dam, Camp Swift, and Circle D-KC Estates.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
