...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Trinity River near Romayor affecting Liberty, Polk and San
  Jacinto Counties.

  Trinity River near Crockett affecting Madison, Houston, Trinity
  and Walker Counties.

  Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County.

  Trinity River near Goodrich affecting Liberty, Polk and San
  Jacinto Counties.

  Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Chambers and Liberty
  Counties.

  Trinity River at Riverside affecting Trinity, Polk, Walker and
  San Jacinto Counties.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...

  Menard Creek near Rye affecting Liberty, Hardin and Polk Counties.

  Bedias Creek near Madisonville affecting Walker and Madison
  Counties.

For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor,
Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast.
For the Menard Creek...including Rye...Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Romayor.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins as water
  spreads into the flood plain. Livestock and equipment should be
  removed from the flood plain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 41.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 30.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:30 PM CDT Saturday was 42.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 41.9
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    42.2 feet on 05/10/1957.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Menard Creek near Rye.

* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins as low
  lying areas along the creek are inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 25.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:15 PM CDT Saturday was 33.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late
    tomorrow morning to 19.1 feet early Monday morning. It will
    then rise above flood stage Monday morning to 22.8 feet
    Tuesday morning. It will fall below flood stage again
    Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    25.2 feet on 01/08/1998.

  escapes the main channel in the vicinity of the gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:45 PM CDT Saturday was 21.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.9
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Crockett.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 43.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding continues in the
  vicinity of the gage impacting ranching operations and prison
  farms. Livestock should be removed from low areas in the flood
  plain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 41.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:45 PM CDT Saturday was 41.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 43.5
    feet early Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    43.5 feet on 05/01/1976.

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River at Liberty.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins as homes in
  several subdivisions above Liberty begin flooding. Extensive
  flooding over much of Liberty County can be expected with each
  incremental rise in the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 31.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:15 PM CDT Saturday was 31.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.6
    feet tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    31.0 feet on 10/21/1994.

* IMPACTS...At 46.8 feet, In past flood at levels above 46.8 feet
  many homes below Lake Livingston were flooded...some with water
  midway up their windows.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 47.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 36.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:45 PM CDT Saturday was 48.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 40.2 feet early
    Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    48.3 feet on 08/30/2017.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:30 PM CDT Saturday was 16.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.5
    feet early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 140.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins with
  widespread flooding in Trinity and Walker Counties. Water is in
  several homes in the Deep River Plantation and Green Rich Shores
  subdivisions. Roads into several subdivisions in Walker and
  Trinity Counties and secondary roads along the river are inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 140.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 133.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:30 PM CDT Saturday was 140.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 137.1 feet early
    Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 133.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    139.6 feet on 05/04/1957.
