Partly cloudy skies with periodic showers and thunderstorms across
Central Kansas have dominated the night. Overnight lows have
ranged in the and upper 50s across the region. Winds have been
generally light and out of the north except in thunderstorms
where winds have gusted up to 30 mph.

Today will be partly cloudy with scattered showers and
thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Some of this
thunderstorm activity could be severe. This will especially be
the case in Northern Oklahoma and Southern Kansas. Afternoon highs
will range from the upper 80s in Northern Oklahoma to the low 70s
in Northern Kansas. Winds will be southeasterly in Eastern Kansas
and into Missouri at 10 to 15 mph and northerly in Western Kansas
at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloud with showers and thunderstorms
ending. Overnight lows will range from near 60 in Southeast Kansas
and into Northern Arkansas to the low 50s in Northwest Kansas and
Eastern Colorado. Winds will northerly and generally light ranging
from 5 to 10 mph.
