Low clouds gradually spread westward from eastern into central
Kansas overnight. Predawn temperatures ranged from the mid to
upper 20s in parts of central Kansas with 30s elsewhere.

A couple of disturbances aloft will move across mid-America today
and tonight with stronger southerly winds developing across the
high Plains. There will be periodic chances for snow and rain for
much of Nebraska and Iowa with increasing chances for showers and
some thunderstorms by tonight across western and central Kansas
into northwest Oklahoma.

High temperatures today will range from the mid-30s to mid-40s
across Iowa and eastern Nebraska to the mid-60s in southwest
Kansas. Lows tonight will range from the upper 20s and 30s in Iowa
and most of Nebraska with 40s across the rest of the heartland.
