.DISCUSSION...A front will move onshore tonight with some rain along
the coast. Friday and Saturday, low pressure will move southward
offshore. This will lead to a cooler, active and showery weather
pattern along with a chance of thunderstorms. Best chance of
thunderstorms will be each afternoon/evening over the East Side.
These may contain strong, gusty winds, hail and downpours. A
colder air mass moves in Saturday night with snow levels dropping
to around 4000 feet. Some snow may accumulate in portions of
NorCal by Sunday morning. Showers linger into Sunday afternoon,
then things should dry out for most by Monday.

.FRIDAY...

Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (60-70 percent). Chance of rain
                    showers through the day. Slight chance of
                    thunderstorms late in the afternoon.
Max temperature.....Around 59.
Min humidity........54 percent.
Eye level winds.....East winds 1 to 3 mph becoming south winds 2
                    to 4 mph in the afternoon.
Wind (20 ft)........East winds 2 to 4 mph becoming south winds 5 to
                    9 mph in the afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds
                    expected near thunderstorms late in the
                    afternoon.
Mixing height.......4600 ft AGL.
Transport winds.....South around 21 mph.
CWR.................19 percent.
LAL.................1 until noon, then 2.
