Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast
National Weather Service Seattle WA
333 AM PDT Sat Apr 20 2024

.SYNOPSIS...Dry and warm conditions to start today, but a cold
front will cross the region later this afternoon, bringing a sharp
cooldown and breezy conditions to Mount Rainier National Park.
Scattered showers and snow showers will linger into Sunday before
high pressure brings a period of quiet weather Monday and Tuesday.
The pattern looks to turn more active with increasing potential
for widespread rain and snow Wednesday into the latter portion of
next week.

&&

.IMPACTS...Strong winds in alpine regions on the mountain,
including the Muir snowfield, will make it difficult to move

of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS,
