.DISCUSSION...
This morning`s upper level system continues eastward, now east of
the MS River. We still have some lingering showers in S AR and N
LA near El Dorado and Ruston that may rewet the ground, but they
will wrap up shortly. Storm totals this morning fell into an inch
or two range for most sites. The forecast models vary somewhat,
but there may a little more again early on Friday. Amounts will be
less around an inch with another progressive system. Likewise the
weekend will see some convection, but maybe more late day than
early. And still we look to dry out a good bit for next week with
soaring heat climbing through the 90s.
