...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...
...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM CDT
THURSDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Areas of showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will continue to
spread across the region this afternoon and tonight, with the passage
of a strong upper level storm system that will move through the area.
Locally heavy rainfall will be possible tonight, with additional
rainfall amounts of a half inch to an inch, with isolated higher
amounts in excess than two inches possible. This may aggravate the
ongoing flooding across the area. Look for these showers and embedded
thunderstorms to gradually diminish from west to east later tonight.
In addition, strong northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40
mph will be possible this evening through tonight near and in wake
of this storm system. Given the saturated grounds, trees may be
uprooted by these gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Gusty winds will remain possible through at least a portion of
Thursday, before gradually relaxing late in the day. Otherwise, dry
conditions will return Thursday through the upcoming weekend, before
isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms return to the area
Monday and Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed tonight for instances of flooding.
