There may be some isolated showers and thunderstorms this morning and early afternoon, particularly toward central KS. Rain looks to become more widespread area-wide this evening and overnight, with some scattered embedded thunderstorms possible. Severe weather is not expected. Otherwise, light SW winds this morning increase to 10-15 mph through the afternoon hours, diminishing after sunset. Temperatures may depend on cloud cover and rain to an extent, though highs are expected to be warmer (low 80s) toward eastern KS with lower RH as well (40s). Central KS areas should see minimum RH in the 50-60 percent range. Showers and thunderstorms continue on and off through Monday, gradually tapering off toward evening. A break in the rain can be expected Tuesday before another system brings more showers and storms Wednesday through Friday morning.
