...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON...CENTRAL SHAWNEE AND NORTHWESTERN DOUGLAS
COUNTIES...

At 818 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over southwestern
Topeka, moving east at 30 mph. At 818 PM quarter size hail was
reported in western Topeka.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
         to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
Topeka, Tecumseh, Silver Lake, Meriden, Lecompton, Pauline and
Grantville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 352 and 355.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 172 and 196.
