showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly in Muskogee
and Sequoyah counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at
around 20 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was
around one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and a
half to two inches. Coverage increased during the last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for early this afternoon, partly sunny, a chance
of showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 73 to 78 degrees and
northwest winds up to 10 mph.
