.REMARKS...THE MAIN STORY FOR THE MONTH WAS THE HOT WEATHER FROM THE
9TH THROUGH THE 12TH. A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE POSITIONED ITSELF IN
SUCH A WAY THAT WINDS WERE LIGHT AND OFFSHORE. THIS WAS THE WARMEST
FOUR DAY PERIOD EVER RECORDED IN THE MONTH OF JUNE. DAILY RECORDS
WERE SET ON THE 11TH AND THE 12TH. THE HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 85
DEGREES ON THE 12 TIED FOR THE 3RD HIGHEST TEMPERATURE EVER RECORDED
IN EUREKA. HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR THE MONTH AS A WHOLE ENDED SLIGHTLY
ABOVE NORMAL WHILE THE LOW TEMPERATURES WERE SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL
DUE TO THE CLEAR SKIES.

THE ONLY RAIN FOR THE MONTH CAME IN THE FORM
OF DRIZZLE. THIS LEFT US WITH NO MEASURABLE RAINFALL FOR THE MONTH,
WHICH IS BELOW NORMAL, NOT UNUSUAL. MKK
