IN WHAT IS THE CLIMATOLOGICALLY WARMEST MONTH AT PINE BLUFF, THE
DEPARTURE FROM NORMAL WAS NEARLY TWO DEGREES BELOW THE 30-YEAR
AVERAGE. IT WAS THE COOLEST JULY IN FIVE YEARS. THE WARMEST
TEMPERATURE WAS 96 DEGREES, AND THE COOLEST TEMPERATURE WAS 62
DEGREES. THIS TEMPERATURE OF 62 DEGREES WAS THE COOLEST JULY
TEMPERATURE RECORDED AT PINE BLUFF IN FIVE YEARS.

RAINFALL WAS ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THE FOURTH MONTH IN A ROW, AND WAS
EXCESSIVE, ESPECIALLY DURING THE FIRST AND SECOND WEEK OF THE MONTH.
IN FACT, NEARLY ALL OF THE RAIN FELL FROM THE 8TH THROUGH THE 16TH.
THIS MADE IT THE WETTEST JULY AT PINE BLUFF IN OVER EIGHT DECADES.
