.SYNOPSIS...
Strong high pressure centered off the Mid-Atlantic coast will keep
strong onshore winds in place today. Showers and thunderstorms
will increase this afternoon and evening in advance of an
approaching cold front that will cross the waters early on
Tuesday. Offshore winds will develop tonight in advance of this
front and will prevail for much of the week in the wake of this
system. Winds and seas will diminish following the passage of the
cold front.

in the morning, then showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
.TONIGHT...South southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet
with occasional seas up to 8 feet. Dominant period 8 seconds. Inland
waters a moderate chop. Showers likely with a chance of
thunderstorms in the evening. A chance of showers after midnight.
