...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH MONDAY
AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of north central Georgia...northeast
  Georgia and west central Georgia...including the following
  areas...in north central Georgia...Barrow...Clayton...Dawson...
   DeKalb...Fayette...Forsyth...Gwinnett...Hall...Henry...
  Lumpkin...Newton...North Fulton...Rockdale...South Fulton and
  Walton. In northeast Georgia...Banks...Clarke...Jackson...
  Madison...Oconee and White. In west central Georgia...Coweta
  and Spalding.

* From this evening through Monday afternoon

* Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected, with the bulk
  of the rainfall occurring tonight and Monday morning.

* Even with somewhat dry soil conditions, rainfall this intense
  will likely lead to rises in creeks and rivers which may go out
  of their banks. High water will not recede until well after the
  rain has ended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
