Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
403 AM EDT Sat May 26 2018

.DISCUSSION... An increasingly moist, warm, and unstable airmass
will prevail across the region this weekend, as weak low pressure
and an attendant frontal boundary linger near the Straits. This
airmass will promote the potential for scattered showers and
thunderstorms mainly during the afternoon and evening hours today
and Sunday. The low pressure and front will wash out with time,
being replaced with increasing pressure and slightly drier air
beginning Monday. Temperatures will be very warm through the holiday
weekend, with highs reaching into the mid 80s to lower 90s.
Dewpoints rising into the 60s will limit minimum relative humidity
to generally above 40 percent the next couple days. Winds will be
south/southwesterly and light.
