.DISCUSSION...

This afternoon will be the last day for a while of sunny and dry
conditions. High pressure is going to keep us dry Sunday but
clouds will be increasing, as will humidity.

Low pressure will track from the Lower Mississippi Valley Sunday
to the North Carolina coast by Tuesday night. Periods of rain will
occur from late Sunday night into Wednesday, with best rains
coming Monday night into Tuesday.

Rainfall amounts from Monday through Wednesday will average around
1 to 1.5 inches, with locally 2 inches or more along and near the
Blue Ridge.

A brief break in the showers Thursday with another chance late
next week.
