...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

QUIET WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL FRIDAY WHEN AN
INCOMING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM ENHANCES WINDS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
GREAT BASIN AND MOJAVE DESERT. WINDS WILL BE STRONGER ON SATURDAY
IN MANY AREAS. WIND GUSTS OF 25-40 MPH AND MINIMUM RH VALUES BELOW
10 PERCENT WILL COMBINE WITH CRITICAL FUELS TO CREATE ENHANCED FIRE
DANGER OVER THE WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE WEST COAST WILL MOVE SLOWLY INLAND
DURING THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL BRING STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW TO
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WITH SLOW COOLING SPREADING INLAND AND GUSTY
SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS IN THE
AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS. SLOW DEEPENING OF THE MARINE LAYER WILL
SPREAD HIGHER COASTAL HUMIDITIES INLAND. FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY...A
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FROM THE NORTHWEST WILL BRING MORE
COOLING...STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW WILL STRONGER AND GUSTY NORTHWEST TO
WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS...AND DEEPENING OF THE
MARINE LAYER ONTO THE COASTAL MOUNTAIN SLOPES WITH SMALL CHANCES
FOR LIGHT PRECIPITATION ALONG AND WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

HOT AND DRY WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. ON FRIDAY,
THE HIGHER TERRAIN IN GILA COUNTY HAS A VERY SLIGHT RISK FOR A
THUNDERSTORM OR TWO. OTHERWISE, MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES
WILL REMAIN AT OR BELOW 15 PERCENT WITH MODEST OVERNIGHT
RECOVERIES. LOCATIONS IN FAR SOUTHWEST IMPERIAL COUNTY MAY SEE SOME
GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH, BUT OTHERWISE, WINDS WILL BE FAIRLY LIGHT WITH
AN OCCASIONAL AFTERNOON BREEZE, AND FOLLOW TYPICAL DIURNAL
DIRECTIONAL PATTERNS ACROSS THE FIRE DISTRICTS.
