.DISCUSSION...

UPDATE...Some isolated shower development is occurring over
southeast Illinois between 7 am and 8 am CDT. This activity may
move into the fireworks area between 10 am and noon. Depending on
the coverage of this rain, it may slow new development by mid-
afternoon.

PREVIOUS DISCUSSION...Latest high resolution guidance suggests
that initial thunderstorm development within 25 miles of the fire
works location will occur between 3 pm and 5 pm CDT. Depending on
the exact location of the first thunderstorms, additional
thunderstorms may linger within the area through 7 pm.

Heat index values between 2 pm and 7 pm CDT will range between 94 and
97 degrees.
