A cold front will push slowly south into SC late this morning and into
the afternoon. High pressure will build into central NC from the north today and
Wednesday, providing a temporary break from the heat. Hot
temperatures will return for the later half of the work week as high
pressure aloft builds over the SE U.S.

                    morning.
