Rangeland Fire Danger Statement

.DISCUSSION...Early morning thunderstorms will wane, but then
redevelop later this afternoon. Skies will be variably cloudy. Highs
will reach the upper 70s to mid 80s. Southeast winds will average
10-15 mph as minimum relative humidities dip to the 40s.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fire occurrence is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions.

The outlook for Thursday afternoon, The grassland fire danger
index will reach the low category.
