Partly cloudy skies and a wide range in temperatures were in place
across central and eastern Kansas today. Late afternoon
temperatures ranged from the upper 60s across northeast Kansas to
the low 80s across south central Kansas.

Storms are expected to develop late this afternoon across western
Oklahoma into southern Kansas ahead of an approaching low pressure
system. Storms are then expected to track east overnight affecting
the eastern half of Kansas, northern and central Oklahoma along
with western Missouri. Severe storms will be possible with storms
tonight with large hail and damaging winds the main threats. Heavy
rain and flooding will also be possible. Storms will linger into
Thursday morning across eastern Kansas, eastern Oklahoma and
southern Missouri with some severe storms and flooding still
possible.

Overnight lows are expected to range from around 40 over western
Nebraska to the middle 60s across eastern Oklahoma. Look for highs
on Thursday to generally be in the mid and upper 70s region wide.
