At 326 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly south of I44
in eastern Oklahoma. Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were
located in Pittsburg county in Oklahoma and Benton county in
Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Bentonville, Rogers and
Fayetteville area. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The
average amount where it rained last hour was one tenth to one
quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch to an inch and a
half. Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon and into this evening,
mostly cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with
temperatures 72 to 77 degrees and north winds 5 to 10 mph.
