.DISCUSSION...
Mainly dry conditions are expected across the region through
today. There will be a chance for showers and a slight chance of
thunderstorms north and west of NYC for the latter half of this
afternoon into early this evening. Rain amounts are expected to
be low enough to not make this sufficient for wetting the ground.
A greater likelihood of rainfall is forecast tonight through
Wednesday and there is more potential for this rain to be enough
to sufficiently wet the ground, especially on Wednesday.
Winds will be southerly around 5 to 15 mph during much of the
forecast period. Minimum relative humidity is forecast to be
mainly between 45 and 65 percent today and mainly between 60 and
80 percent on Wednesday.
