The nearby Quincy Municipal AP station was reporting a temperature/dew point of 72/68 with a calm wind under patches of upper clouds this morning. Satellite imagery shows much of the fog and low stratus over the FL Panhandle & SE AL. This activity should lift within the next couple hrs with the burn site likely remaining unaffected. For today, dispersions exceed 20 by noon EDT when winds pick up out of the SE followed by a gradual shift out of the south or SW. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible, but the higher chances are to the north and east. Gusty, erratic winds with lightning would be the primary concerns. Otherwise, expect hot conditions as temperatures rise to around 90, but feel like low 90s under a mix of sun and clouds.
