951 FNUS63 KABR 010718 RFDABR Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 218 AM CDT Wed May 1 2024 .DISCUSSION... Cool west breeze for the morning will subside and winds will shift slowly to the south from west to east across the state through the course of the day. South winds will increase across the Missouri valley and points west to between 20 and 30mph by the afternoon, while for northeast South Dakota, winds will remain generally light. Through the course of the afternoon we will also see light showers expand in coverage across central and north central South Dakota, and then northeast South Dakota this evening. Temperatures will rebound to near average with highs in the 60s and afternoon humidity between 25 and 45 percent.
