Rain showers will persist for much of the day, with some clearing from west to east. This will lead to a little instability, enough to generate scattered weak showers and thunderstorms. Afternoon humidity will dip to around 30 percent in central South Dakota, while the northeast will only drop to between 50 to 80 percent. Winds will increase out of the west gusting to between 20 and 30mph.
