...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PRINCE GEORGE...
NORTHWESTERN SUSSEX AND CENTRAL DINWIDDIE COUNTIES AND THE
SOUTHEASTERN CITY OF PETERSBURG THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 650 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Dewitt, or near McKenney, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Petersburg, Dinwiddie, McKenney, Disputanta, Stony Creek, Homeville,
Dewitt, Carson, Newville, Burgess, Booker, Reams, Wharfs Store, New
Bohemia, Center Star, Petersburg Airport, Five Forks, Richard Bland
College, Templeton, and Prince George Golf.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
