.DISCUSSION...
No significant fire weather concerns are anticipated through
Tuesday. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur
in the region today, tonight and Tuesday. Wetting rains are
expected, with rain totals for most area falling between 0.50
and 1.50 inches. Minimum relative humidity values will remain
elevated, with the vast majority of sites seeing readings above
60 percent. Today`s winds will be from the southeast at 6 to 12
mph. Winds should shift to the southwest on Tuesday, with peak
afternoon winds speeds in the 6 to 12 mph range. Mixing heights
will be poor today (1000 to 1500 ft AGL) and only marginal
increases (to around 2000 ft) are expected on Tuesday. Transport
winds in the 10 to 20 mph range are forecast through Tuesday.
