...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
  continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
  counties, Brazos and Grimes.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 830 PM CDT, Department of Transportation reported that
    water from the Navasota River has begun flooding the bridge
    at Highway 30 and has been closed.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    mainly rural areas of East Central Brazos and Northwestern
    Grimes Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
