...NWS Meteorologists Currently Surveying Storm Damage Near
Trinity in Trinity County Texas...

The National Weather Service office in Houston/Galveston TX is
currently conducting a storm survey for the area near Trinity in
Trinity County Texas. The survey is in relation to the severe
thunderstorms that moved through the area in the evening on April
28 2024.

Preliminary survey results are indicating an EF1 tornado struck
the Rock Creek Subdivision near Trinity. The survey is ongoing.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by 10:00 PM CDT.
