...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN IBERIA...
NORTHWESTERN ST. MARY...SOUTHEASTERN VERMILION AND WEST CENTRAL ST.
MARTIN PARISHES THROUGH 330 AM CDT...

At 224 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Loreauville to near Avery Island to 9
miles northeast of Freshwater City. Movement was northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Iberia, St. Martinville, Jeanerette, Freshwater City, Cypremort
Point, Avery Island, Intracoastal City, Erath, Delcambre,
Loreauville, Cade, Lydia, Acadiana Regional Airport, Jefferson
Island, Coteau, Lake Fausse Pointe, Henry, and Weeks Island.
