...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN BEAUREGARD...WESTERN
VERNON PARISHES IN WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND NORTHEASTERN NEWTON
COUNTIES THROUGH 930 AM CDT...

At 846 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Burkeville to near Fields. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
De Ridder, Newton, Rosepine, Merryville, Anacoco, Toledo Bend Dam,
Singer, Fields, Bon Weir, Burkeville, Hornbeck, Bivens, Burr Ferry,
Bancroft, Junction, Stringtown, Wiergate, and Evans.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
