Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 09Z, or 2 AM PDT, a 1029 mb surface high was
700 NM W of Point Conception. A 1012 mb thermal low was located
along the Arizona-California border. This pattern remain through
Friday, slightly strengthening this afternoon and tonight. Areas of
dense fog with visibility one nautical mile or less will affect all
coastal waters this morning, and again tonight and into Friday
morning.
